Publication Ethic
Jurnal Akuntansi Mahasiswa (JAKMA) committed to upholding ethical standards in all stages of the publication process. This ethical statement is based on the guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and applies to all parties involved: Author, Editor, and Reviewer.
Duties of Editors

Fair Publication Decision: The editor is responsible for deciding which manuscripts to publish. This decision must be based purely on validity, significance, originality, and relevance Manuscripts with the focus and scope of the journal, regardless of the author's race, gender, religion, or nationality.

Confidentiality: Editors and editorial staff must not disclose any information about the submitted manuscript to anyone other than the author, peer reviewer, and publisher.

Objektivitas: The review process should be done objectively. Editors should ensure that each manuscript is evaluated based on its intellectual content.

Conflict of Interest: Editors should not use information from unpublished manuscripts for their personal research without the author's written consent. Editors should withdraw from the editorial process if they have a conflict of interest.
Duties of Reviewers

Contributions to Editorial Decisions: Reviews from peer reviews help editors make decisions and assist writers in improving their manuscripts.

Confidentiality: Any manuscript accepted for review should be treated asConfidential Documents. Manuscripts may not be discussed with others without permission from the editor.

Punctuality: Reviewers must complete the review process within the stipulated time. If they feel ineligible or unable to complete on time, they should notify the editor immediately.

Objectivity Standards: Reviews must be conducted objectively. Personal criticism of the author is inappropriate. All suggestions and comments must be supported by clear arguments.

Conflict of Interest: The review partner must refuse to review the manuscript if there is a conflict of interest arising from a competitive, collaborative, or other relationship with the author or related institution.
Duties of Authors

Originality and Plagiarism: Authors must ensure that the submitted work isoriginal works and has never been published anywhere else. Citations or uses of other people's works must be properly acknowledged and cited. All manuscripts will be checked using plagiarism detection software.

Reporting Standards: The author should present an accurate report of the service activity, followed by an objective discussion of its significance. The underlying data should be presented accurately in the manuscript.

Dual or Simultaneous Publications: Submitting the same manuscript to more than one journal simultaneously is unethical and unacceptable behavior.

Authorship: Authorship should be limited to those who have given Significant Contribution to the concept, design, implementation, or interpretation of the reported activities. All who have made significant contributions should be listed as co-authors.

Conflict of Interest:Authors must disclose any potential conflicts of interest (financial or otherwise) that may affect the outcome or interpretation of their manuscript.

Errors in Published Works: If the author discovers significant errors or inaccuracies in his or her published work, the author is obliged to immediately notify the journal editor and cooperate to retract or correct the article.
