IJRS (International journal of research scholars) was first published in 2026 by Akasia Digital Creative, a private journal focused on the fields of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP) and Management. The journal was established to provide a credible and accessible publication platform for researchers, academics, and practitioners in these two interconnected disciplines.

Since its inaugural issue, IJRS has been managed independently under Akasia Digital Creative, applying a [double-blind] peer-review process and publishing twice a year, in January and September. The print/electronic ISSN is currently under application with the relevant national ISSN authority. The editorial board aims for gradual indexing in Garuda and Google Scholar, followed by Sinta/DOAJ once the required issuance and administrative criteria are met.
