Screaning Plagiarism
Jurnal Akuntansi Mahasiswa (JAKMA) have a high commitment to maintaining academic integrity and ethics. Plagiarism in all its forms, including copying ideas, sentences, or data without proper attribution as well as self-plagiarism (double publication), is a serious ethical violation and will not be tolerated.
Therefore, every manuscript submitted to the JAKMA editorial team will go through a similarity check process using anti-plagiarism software Turnitin before being continued to the review stage by Mitra Bestari (Reviewer).
The provisions of the plagiarism check process are as follows:

Maximum level of similarity limit (similarity index) that can be tolerated is 25%.

Manuscripts that have a level of similarity above 25% will be returned to the author for revision or will be rejected outright by the editor.

The final decision depends not only on the percentages, but also on a substantive evaluation by the editorial team of the sources of similarities detected.
Manuscripts that are proven to have committed plagiarism after going through the evaluation process will lImmediately rejected to be published. If plagiarism is discovered after the article has been published, the article will beretracted from the journal.
